How can we help?

CONTACT THE TEAM

Send a question, report a problem, or ask about your data. You can contact us without signing in.

Enable JavaScript to send a message using this form. The support guides below remain available.

Your support message

We’ll use these details to respond to your request. See our privacy policy. Please leave out passwords, security codes, and other secrets.

Help us understand what happened

  • The steps you took, what you expected, and what happened instead.
  • Your device, browser or app version, and the approximate time of the issue, including your time zone.
  • The visible error message, with confidential information removed.

Please never send passwords, security codes, recovery codes, API tokens, or secret calendar links. We do not need them to help you.

Getting started

  1. Create your workspace and verify your email address using the link we send you.
  2. Open Projects to organise your work. A starter project is created with your account.
  3. Start a timer from your workspace or add time manually. Add notes, tags, and a task link when they are useful.
  4. Use Timesheet and Reports to review your hours and export your entries.

Account & security

I haven’t received a verification or password reset email

Check your junk folder and that you entered the correct email address. On the verification screen, use “Resend verification email” once the countdown ends. Password reset links can be requested from Forgot your password.

If you requested several links, use the newest one. If no email arrives, use the contact form and enter your registered email address.

My authenticator code isn’t working

Choose the Timepora entry in your authenticator app and enter its current six-digit code. Check that your phone’s date and time are set automatically. Each code can only be used once; wait for a new one if you just used it to set up MFA.

You can select “Use a recovery code” on the security check screen and enter an unused recovery code instead.

I lost my authenticator and my recovery codes

Use the contact form with your registered email address and choose “Account access”. We will need to verify account ownership before discussing access. We cannot promise access restoration or bypass security checks based on a message alone.

How do I change my password or set up MFA?

Sign in and open Settings. Use Profile to change your password and Security to set up email codes or an authenticator app. Keep your recovery codes somewhere safe, separate from your authenticator device.

I think someone else accessed my account

Change your password if you can still sign in and contact us immediately. Review connected tools and revoke any credentials you believe are exposed at their provider. Report a possible vulnerability privately using the contact form and choose “Security report”, without including secrets or other people’s data.

Timers & reports

Can I leave the page while a timer is running?

Yes. A running timer continues between sessions. Return to your workspace to stop it or switch tasks. Starting another timer stops your current one so timers do not overlap.

How do I correct time or an entry?

Open Timesheet and edit the entry to correct its timing, project, notes, tags, or billable status. You can also add a manual time entry. Review the selected date range and your time zone if an entry appears on an unexpected day.

How can I export my time?

Open Timesheet, choose the relevant date range and filters, then use the CSV export option. Check your filters if the export does not include the entries you expected. For a wider personal data request, see Your data & privacy below.

Connected tools

Timepora can link work to GitHub, Linear, and Jira, and display events from a calendar feed you choose to connect.

A connected tool stopped showing live details

Open Settings and check the connection. Your token may have expired, been revoked, or lost access to the linked resource. Reconnect with the appropriate permissions. Disconnecting a tool removes its saved token from Timepora; revoke the token with the provider if you also want to invalidate it there.

My calendar events are missing

Confirm that you connected a calendar subscription feed rather than a calendar’s normal web page. Check the selected date and your time zone, then refresh the events. Your calendar provider may take time to publish changes to the feed.

Treat a secret calendar subscription URL like a password. Do not include it in a support email or screenshot.

Your data & privacy

To request a copy of your personal data, correct account information you cannot edit yourself, or request account deletion, use the contact form with your registered email address. Choose “Privacy or account deletion request” and describe what you need.

We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity. You do not need to send a password or MFA code. Read our privacy policy for how we use and retain personal data and how to exercise your rights.
